All members of the soccer program must maintain at least a C average (73) in all classes. If you have any questions, please contact the coaches.
Soccer participants must also meet the academic requirements of both the MIAA and Shepherd Hill in order to be eligible to compete. No exceptions.
ATTENDANCE POLICY Team members are expected to attend all games, practices, meetings, classroom sessions and organized team activities. Not attending these events will potentially result in suspension or ineligibility. The coaching staff must be made aware of all absences from team activities prior to the absence. All absences will be considered unexcused unless approved by Head Coach. Unexcused tardies are treated individually at the discretion of the Head Coach. Habitual absence or late arrival could lead to immediate dismissal from the team. Students must be present for school in order to be eligible to participate in that day’s practice or game. If the practice or game falls on a Saturday, this attendance rule applies to the preceding Friday. Students are considered absent from school if they arrive after 11:00 AM or get dismissed prior to 11:00 AM without returning. Students serving in-schoolsuspensionareconsidered ineligible for athletics for the day that they serve.

It is the responsibility of the player to wash all clothing (issued and personal) in a timely manner. Uniforms must be cleaned for each game. Practice bibs must also be washed regularly.
Players are expected to only wear equipment and clothing issued to THEM. Players will not be allowed to participate in any team activity if they are wearing equipment or clothing issued to another teammate, and it will be considered an unexcused absence and treated accordingly. Habitual offenders will face potential consequences.
Team members should be prepared for any type of practice scenario, EVERY day. Keep in mind the soccer teams practice on grass and the turf, but players should always have soccer flats or running shoes on hand. All undershirts/leggings that can bee seen under uniform must be the exact same color as the uniform being worn. No sweatshirts or hoodies are allowed under jerseys. Players should wear the issued uniform socks for games and NEVER for training.
Players are to observe the "No cleats on the track" and the "No cleats in the building" rules.
